Shannon Airport (SNN) ~30 minute drive to Adare Manor, small and easy to navigate.
Dublin Airport (DUB) ~2.5-3 hour drive to Adare Manor, larger with more direct U.S. flight options.

If flying directly to the U.S. from Ireland: Shannon and Dublin both have U.S. Customs & Immigration Pre Clearance. You’ll clear U.S. customs before you board, so you land as a domestic passenger in the U.S. You should arrive to the airport about 3 hours before departure to allow for security and pre clearance.

Major rental car agencies are located at Shannon (SNN) and Dublin (DUB) airports.
Most cars in Ireland are manual so be sure to book early and request an automatic, if preferred, as they are limited.
A valid U.S. drivers license is accepted in Ireland. An International Driving Permit is not required, but can be handy.

Roads can be narrow and winding especially in rural areas.
